Sewell on the go awarded Gold with GroceryAid

Our Hull and East Yorkshire based retail company, Sewell on the go are proud to have been awarded the Gold Award for GroceryAid for the the third year running. The award recognises our dedication to sharing the support GroceryAid offers among our retail team members, externally and fundraising to help it continue by taking part in, and hosting numerous activities across the charity’s three pillars; awareness, fundraising and volunteering.

This included promoting GroceryAid’s support at our internal events, taking part in GroceryAid Day, fundraising for the charity, focused learning and development groups for our staff, and being an active contributor to the GroceryAid Awareness Network.

GroceryAid has been providing emotional, practical and financial support for grocery people since 1857, and they support people who work, or have worked, in the grocery industry. As well as a helpline which provides emotional and practical support 24/7, 365 days a year, the charity also helps with financial grants, counselling and supporting people through life’s challenges.

Sewell on the go are in fantastic company with this award, with others recognised including international household names such as Asda, Coca Cola and Marks & Spencer. Operations Manager, Kate Barbour, from Sewell on the go said to be recognised once again for the work the team do for GroceryAid means so much:
