Sewell on the go teams up with Hull Kingston Rovers for second consecutive year

Leading forecourt retailer Sewell on the Go has repeated its sponsorship of the Colin Hutton stand at Hull Kingston Rovers for a further 12 months, continuing a thriving union with the club and generating benefits for the local community.

Following a successful year on and off the field in 2018, which saw the club retain its Super League status while also building an increasingly strong partnership with Sewell on the Go, positivity is surrounding Hull KR with a host of new signings aiming to push the club up the table in 2019.

Both organisations are rooted within the community of East Hull and the first year of Sewell on the go’s sponsorship saw many activities and opportunities created, including summer camps for children during the school summer holidays.

Plans for 2019 include Sewell on the go branding within the North Stand, joining forces for the club’s Community Trust Family Fun Day, and a range of other activities throughout the year.

Sewell on the go operates 13 fuel and convenience stores across Hull and the East Riding, with five in East Hull, and all are open 24/7.

All 2019 members will receive numerous benefits in alignment with the extended partnership, providing discounts on fuel, car care, food and drink, and much more.

Patrick Sewell, Managing Director of Sewell on the go, said: “Hull KR has delivered in supporting us and our customers and we have a mutual synergy with the club.

“I’m delighted with the ideas they have put to us so far and how we have been able to team up to deliver them.

“Many of our customers are Rovers fans and many Rovers fans are our customers, so it’s great to have such a positive partnership with Hull KR and involve the community wherever possible.”

Robins’ CEO Mike Smith said: “We’re delighted Sewell on the go has decided to renew its partnership with the club.

“Sewell on the go has been outstanding to work with thus far and we feel that both parties have enjoyed major benefits, both with the club and the fans.

“The business’ support of the club in 2018 was fantastic. We are looking forward to a fruitful 2019, which will no doubt be filled with even greater steps forwards.”
