Sewell on the go continue to support Dove House

Sewell on the go’s dedication to raising funds for local hospice, Dove House continued this month with an internal raffle for employees across the Sewell Group, plus their family members and friends.

With donated prizes including an iPad and a RugDoctor Carpet Cleaner, the raffle was a huge success raising a total of £1,013 for the charity!

Dove House Hospice has been caring for people in Hull and East Yorkshire for almost 40 years. Alongside other community focused activities, Sewell on the go has a long history supporting the hospice – from entering teams into It’s a Knockout,  to dressing up as dinosaurs, our teams always go above and beyond to support such a worthy cause.

The raffle was drawn at HQ, where we were joined by Dan from Dove House Hospice, two Hull KR players – Albie Vete & Jordan Abdull – and of course Rufus the Robin, to announce the results.

Later this year, we’ll once again be dedicating the month of September to fundraising for the hospice – keep an eye out on our socials to find out what we’re getting up to. As part of this, we have volunteers from across our teams once again taking part in their huge event, ‘It’s a knockout’ on Saturday 10 September at their base on Chamberlain Road, Hull. It’s always a great, fun-filled day for the full family with plenty of laughs guaranteed, so head down to cheer us on!
