On Thursday 20 October, our MD, Patrick Sewell attended the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) annual Recognition Awards where he was presented with an award on behalf of the teams at Sewell on the go whose ongoing support have helped raise £1000’s for the charity.

• Community Groups
• Individuals supporters
• Corporates
• Outstanding partnership

• Special Recognition
• Chairman’s Award
Lin Stead, Regional Fundraising Manager said:
“We were delighted to present Sewell on the Go with their much-deserved Corporate Award at our recent Recognition Awards evening, and it was great to have Patrick with us there on the night. A long-standing supporter of the YAA, we are so very grateful for the ongoing support we have received from the company and its colleagues, and this award is just a small thank you and recognition of how grateful we are for their support”
Alongside other local charities like Hull4Heroes, Dove House, Fitmums and Friends and Hull Animal Welfare Trust, Sewell on the go have supported YAA for many years, and have helped raise over £18,000 from various YAA events that our staff have taken part in – most recently, our Ops Manager Allison taking part in a skydive to raise money for the charity. Our stores also have ongoing clothing banks at our stores that, along with other supporters, have helped raise over £30k for the charity through their recycling scheme.
